Florida's humidity and outdoor environment are hard on electronics. Manual shades are more reliable, easier to maintain, and less expensive - both upfront and long-term.
Can the shades handle wind?
When fully extended and secured at the bottom, our shades handle typical Florida breezes well. For strong winds, we recommend retracting them.
How long do Sunbrella Roll-downs last?
The fabric typically lasts 8-12 years with normal use. The mechanism and housing last much longer - we can re-fabric existing installations if needed.
